Our own website: from Basic to Good on the free AI check
Before asking anyone else to trust our check, we ran it on our own website. It came back Basic. Here is what it found, what we changed and what it says now.

Things that could be better
Results from our free AI check at /ai-check, run on 4 and 5 October 2026.
What we found
- The home page description was too long, so search engines cut it off, and it still showed an old price.
- AI tools could find our location but not a phone number.
- Our hours weren't labelled, so assistants couldn't answer "are they open now?".
- Nothing linked the website to our LinkedIn and Facebook pages, so AI tools couldn't be sure they were the same business.
What we changed
- Rewrote the home page title and description to fit, with no price that could go out of date.
- Added our phone number to the footer and to the structured data AI tools read.
- Added our opening hours, Monday to Friday 9:00 to 18:00, as labelled data.
- Linked our LinkedIn and Facebook pages from the website and from its structured data.
The result
- All 17 checks now pass and the website shows Good.
- Every fix was a small change to the existing website. Nothing needed a rebuild.
- We'll add Search Console results here once there are a few months of data to compare.
